Earlier today, I was making my way to school by train and reading through the Straits Times when I noticed this:

Notice the error? If you all have not, try looking closer again at the year in which Raffles supposedly arrived at Singapore.

Hmm... Perhaps the people at the Straits Times know something we all do not but I doubt it.
