Merry New Year

How Time flies
With a blink of an eye
Come and gone again another year has

Don't worry
I won't be a wet blanket this time round
And tell you all that there's nothing to celebrate about

Celebrate & be thankful
For despite all odds & obstacles
We have survived another year

But
There are still some things
That I would like to remind you all of

As you all celebrate
Remember to spare a thought
For the less fortunate and how you all can help them

As you all celebrate
Remember to look around
And see how you all can contribute to make our world better

While you all celebrate
Don't forget to look back
On your mistakes last year and try to learn from them

While you all celebrate
Don't forget to look ahead
At the challenges you all will face and be prepared

As you all celebrate
Remember to look inside
Your own self and see how you all can be a better person

As you all celebrate
Remember to cherish what you all do have
And not just think about chasing after something you all don't have
