"Youth Engaging Social Justice Research was first conceived as a small group of young people interested in social justice issues and research. The consolidation of our ideals led to the formal inception of Y?Research on 11 July 2008. Underpinned by a set of principles and strong beliefs in the power of research, the youthful energy and boundless assets of young people, and the move towards a democratization of knowledge, Y?Research aims to develop into a sustainable resource centre for youths to engage research for positive social change."
