Do They Still Remember What’s Christmas?

This Christmas
The streets are once again filled
With people throbbing in & out of shopping malls

I wonder
How many of these people
Still remember the meaning of Christmas

I wonder
How many still remember that Christmas
Means more than mere merry-making & exchanging of gifts

Have Christmas become so commercialised
That people forget to think about the less fortunate
While losing themselves amidst Christmas sales & pretty lighting

Do we
Still remember
The meaning of Christmas
